Sony claimed to have been testing new gaming devices they are developing. When viewed from the concept of play are offered, the product is likely to bring a new style of game.

Android operating  system  is the mainstay of Samsung. No wonder the South Korean manufacturer  is planning to  strengthen its line of tablet  besutannya  Android  with new features  of 4G technology LTE (Long Term Evolution).

"We will continue to work with Android in the future tablets," said JK Shin-President and Head of Samsung Mobile Communications Business, quoted from the Wall Street Journal on Monday (5/30/2011).

Shin said it was discussing with operators in South Korea and the United States to launch a tablet computer with 4G technology LTE. With him, promised download speeds over speeding.

BlackBery Torch 2 almost certainly use a new mobile operating systems from RIM, the BlackBerry OS 7. RIM is expected soon to introduce this phone and get them to market in quarter 3 or 4 2011.

One of Microsoft's investors called for Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, soon backed away from his position. Ballmer considered 'obsolete'.

The call was delivered by David Einhorn, hedge fund manager from Greenlight Capital. Currently Greenlight is one of Microsoft's stock investors.

As quoted by Reuters on Thursday (05/26/2011), shares of Microsoft for 10 years is considered stagnant. According to Einhorn's now time Ballmer stepped down and give opportunities to others.

"Its existence is a constant cloud over most of Microsoft shares," Einhorn said in a conference Ira Sohn Investment Research Conference in New York, United States.

Google Docs users, it's no longer, access files on these services not only be done when it is online only, but you can also access them when you're not connected to the Internet.

Senior Vice President of Google, Pichai Sunday, confirmed that Google will soon allow offline access to Google Docs. But he did not say when the exact time.

Ubisoft Ubisoft has established the Motion Pictures. Moreover, game publishers will do it if not make a movie based on the best-selling series?

As quoted from Variety, Tuesday (17/05/2011), at least there are three movies that will work with Ubisoft. All three are based on the best-selling game series ever published Ubisoft: Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon.

The game will be made in 3D format. "We have worked closely with the producer of Ubisoft's games and marketing team to find DNA of every game in order to produce a consistent story," said Jean-Julien Baronnet, head of Ubisoft Motion Pictures.

Ubisoft business that develops its own film studio should be noted carefully. So far, most of the film adaptation of the game has a relatively disappointing results.

By having a special division movie, Ubisoft might be able to maintain the 'core' of a game when adapted to film. Moreover, the series such as Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell already has a line of its own fans.

Here are brief profiles of each of the three series of Ubisoft's mainstay, as well as speculation that elements of what will be interesting to be appointed to the big screen.

Assassin's Creed

Besides the three big movies, Ubisoft Motion Pictures reportedly is developing an animated series based Raving Rabids. This animated series will have a format with a duration of seven minutes per episode.

Before this Ubisoft has been successfully experimenting with film from the game. For example, Assassin's Creed Lineage series that they distribute via the web.

Currently Nvidia Tegra chip firmware upgrade  is not yet done Over The Air (OTA). In fact users System On a Chip (SoC)  is growing a lot. For that Nvidia was acquired Icera.

As quoted from Phone Arena, Thursday (5/12/2011), with the acquisition Tegra firmware can later be upgraded with a standard 2G networks, 3G, and 4G.

Icera is a networking company that has a portfolio good enough for HSPA + and LTE networks. Nvidia Tegra 2 as we know has a GPU, audio, and GPS in the chip.

But unfortunately SoC is forgetting one important feature, regarding the upgrade firmware OTA. Of course this will be very useful for Nvidia Tegra products further.

"Nvidia Tegra has had a fairly impressive road map in this industry, and now has been united with Icera. As part of Nvidia, we are ready to expand market share," said Icera CEO, Stan Boland.

As the growing popularity of Android, the number of applications  developed  for this operating  system  more and more. Even predicted soon, applications on the Android  Market  will be  higher  in number  than the  Apple  App Store.

Research from Research2guidance company in Germany said that though initially slow, the growth of Android Market began to exceed the Apple Store. In April 2011, as many as 28 thousand new application added to Android Market, compared to 11 thousand in the App Store.

Until May 2011, the Android Market had 294,738 applications. This amount is approaching the App Store that had 381,062 applications at the same time.

By analyzing several factors such as higher growth than the App Store, Android applications, Research2guidance predict the number of applications will exceed the Android Market App Store around August 2011.

Research2guidance also revealed several other points. For example only 36% paid Android applications, compared with 60% application in the App Store. Apple's revenue edges will still be higher than Google.

Whether related towith case against Geohotz or not ,Sony is known to have  closed the  PlayStation  Network  . Why? There are 'external threats'.

Through its official blog, Sony announced the PlayStation Network is still closing. Online services for users of the PlayStation 3 is disrupted since 20 April 2011.

As quoted from the official PlayStation blog on Sunday (04/24/2011), the closure was caused by 'external threats'.

"An intrusion from outside of our system has affected the PlayStation Network (PSN) and Qriocity," writes Patrick Siebold, Sr.. Director, Corporate Communications & Social Media, Sony Entertainment, United States.

For the sake of doing a thorough investigation, Siebold said, PSN and Qriocity been turned off. He claimed not to know when service will be alive again.

"Our efforts to overcome this problem including rebuild our system to be more powerful. Although it spends a lot of time, we decided that this needs to be done for the sake of security," he wrote.

PSN closure occurred shortly after Sony settle its legal case with Georgo Hotz aka Geohotz. When the case was crowded, the group called Anonymous had launched an offensive to Sony.
