Sony claimed to have been testing new gaming devices they are developing. When viewed from the concept of play are offered, the product is likely to bring a new style of game.

The device does not yet have an official name, but its shape resembles a large-sized eye glasses complete with screens Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) capable of displaying high-resolution images in three dimensions.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is smartphone specially dedicated to playing games. Not just a matter of  hardware, gaming content ecosystem also worked seriously claimed by Sony Ericsson.

Xperia Ray

Sony Ericsson TXT not a smartphone and not a particular operating system. Wearing a full qwerty BlackBerry-style keyboard, the handset is put on a QVGA type screen width of 2.55 inch.

Embedded facilities include Wi-Fi, 3.2 MP camera, 64MB of internal memory and microSD slot. Phones that seems to follow the trend of this cheap QWERTY also be released in 2011.

Sony finally announced the presence of  homemade  tablet  computer. Quoted by Reuters on Tuesday (04/26/2011), Japanese electronics giant said it would release two tablet-based Android operating system version 3.0, aka Honeycomb.

Two tablet computers are called S1 and S2. Although lagging behind other vendors in marketing tablet, Sony still ambitious and courageous eyeing the number two position behind Apple iPad.

According Kunimasa Suzuki, Deputy President of the Consumer Products and Services Group, Sony, Sony's tablet bearing two forms. Models S1 and S2 single sail will have two touch screens at once.

"two-screen design is particularly relevant for reading digital books where the content is displayed on the screen in next door," said Suzuki.

Sony take a long time before finally entering the market now to make sure the tablet. They argued not want to hurry because he wanted to make a special differentiation of consumer demand for its products.

Sony Ericsson introduced its first Walkman phone  Android. Different from the previous  leaks  that predict this phone called the W15, it turns out he emerged as the W8.

Whether related towith case against Geohotz or not ,Sony is known to have  closed the  PlayStation  Network  . Why? There are 'external threats'.

Through its official blog, Sony announced the PlayStation Network is still closing. Online services for users of the PlayStation 3 is disrupted since 20 April 2011.

As quoted from the official PlayStation blog on Sunday (04/24/2011), the closure was caused by 'external threats'.

"An intrusion from outside of our system has affected the PlayStation Network (PSN) and Qriocity," writes Patrick Siebold, Sr.. Director, Corporate Communications & Social Media, Sony Entertainment, United States.

For the sake of doing a thorough investigation, Siebold said, PSN and Qriocity been turned off. He claimed not to know when service will be alive again.

"Our efforts to overcome this problem including rebuild our system to be more powerful. Although it spends a lot of time, we decided that this needs to be done for the sake of security," he wrote.

PSN closure occurred shortly after Sony settle its legal case with Georgo Hotz aka Geohotz. When the case was crowded, the group called Anonymous had launched an offensive to Sony.
