LAFD Says "March for Babies"

Diposkan oleh Batas Langit | 06:00
The Los Angeles Fire Department has once again paired up with the March of Dimes in its annual fund raising campaign.  The LAFD’s goal for the 2011 campaign is to raise at least $10,000 to help support this important cause.  The March of Dimes uses the money raised from this effort to support research and programs that improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature births and infant mortality.

This year LAFD is encouraging more sworn personnel to assist, however any motivated individual who is interested in volunteering their time for this worthwhile charity can join. This "Walk America” event will take place on:

Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Exposition Park from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.
