"They are unstoppable", is how some are describing a group of determined firefighters, including members of the Los Angeles Fire Department, as they cycle through intense heat, pouring rain and even hail on a 3,308 mile trek from Los Angeles to New York, in honor of lives lost on September 11, 2001.

This Ride for 9-11 is currently in Oklahoma City, and will depart August 15th continuing on a journey that will end at the FDNY Firefighters Memorial on September 9th. You can follow their progress on this amazing journey and show your support online as well as via Facebook and Twitter.

Please also save the date for our local "Remembrance Ceremony", in memory of the lives lost on September 11, 2001, at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and on airline flights 11, 77, 93, and 175.
